January 11, 2019

Dry Scalp? Frizzy hair? Brittle hair? Your curls break easily when combed?

If any of this sounds familiar, your hair might be thirsty!

Water is one of the best choices to quench it. A quarter of our hair filament is made of water.

Drinking an adequate quantity of quality water is essential for hair growth.

A minimum of 2L is recommended on a daily basis. Quality water contains minerals.

It is exempt of bacteria, preferably stored in glass or Bisphenol A (BPA) free containers, away from light.

Drinking water prevents dehydration, the main cause of hair dryness.

Spraying water directly on your hair feeds your roots. Yes, your hair roots absorb water to nourish its strand just like plant roots do.

There is a dynamic exchange of moisture between your hair and the environment.

In a hot room, your hair loses humidity and dries. Humidifiers help to keep a good level of humidity in your spaces.

Moisturized hair can be achieved by regularly applying a mixture of distilled (or mineral) water and vegetable oil.

Olive oil, Jojoba oil, almond oil are the most effective frizz fighters.

Salty or chlorinated water can damage your hair.

After swimming in the sea or at the pool, make sure you shampoo your hair thoroughly to remove any residue.

Use warm water to wash your hair, it removes the built up. Final rinse with cold water closes the hair cuticles, reducing the frizz.

Water is essential for hair elasticity!!!

Who wants a gleaming hair? Shiny tresses? Bouncy curls?

Keep drinking and spraying water ladies!

With much love,
