Camphor is known for its antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Camphor has been mixed with warm coconut oil to treat dandruff and head lice. Just as Fenugreek seeds have been traditionally soaked in water overnight, drained and mixed with apple cidar vinegar to obtain a hair mask against dandruff. The claim that Fenugreek seeds fight dandruff is related to its Camphor content.
